NJDOT to discuss pre-construction
information for Scotch Bonnet Bridge project
The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) will hold a pre-construction information center for the replacement of the Scotch Bonnet Bridge on Stone Harbor Boulevard in Middle Township and Stone Harbor Borough, Cape May.
The information center will be held on Thursday, November 21, 1996, from 3 PM to 7 PM at the Council Chambers of Stone Harbor Borough, 9508 Second Avenue, Stone Harbor.
The existing bridge is a narrow, timber structure 22.4 feet wide with two travel lanes. The project will replace this structure with a pre-stressed concrete structure with two 12 foot travel lanes and two 8 foot shoulders.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the project and the upcoming construction. NJDOT staff and the contractor will be on hand to discuss the project and answer questions.
