NJDOT Suspends Appraisal
Visits on A.C./Brigantine Connector
The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) announced today it has suspended any activities related to property acquisition and appraisals for the Atlantic City/Brigantine Connector, a proposed roadway and tunnel that will direct traffic from the Atlantic City Expressway to the city’s Marina District, until all the engineering feasibility work is concluded.
"I want to clarify any misunderstandings or miscommunications regarding this project," said Commissioner Frank J. Wilson. "It makes the most sense to wait until our engineering feasibility work is complete before we move ahead with the acquisition of the properties along Horace Bryant Boulevard."
Wilson said that postponing the site visits by the appraisers will not affect the project schedule.
