New weekend contact number for NJDOT press office
MEDIA ADVISORY
News organizations working during the weekends on stories requiring a response from the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) should now call (609) 738-8079. This number is assigned to a pager that will be with the NJDOT press officer on call for that particular weekend. After dialing the number and hearing a beep, input the telephone number you want the press officer to return the call to including the area code. The NJDOT will make every effort to respond to the inquiry in a timely manner.
