NJDOT To Readopt Regulations
on Utility Use of Rights-Of-Way
A proposal to readopt with minor revisions existing regulations governing the use of New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) rights-of-way by utilities is scheduled to be published in the May 18 edition of the New Jersey Register.
The proposal governs utilities including pipelines, overhead power and communications lines and underground electric power and communications lines. The proposal contains standards and requirements for such utility accommodation on NJDOT rights-of-way.
Those wishing to comment on the proposal may submit correspondence to Renee Rapciewicz, Deputy Administrative Practice Officer, NJDOT, Bureau of Legislative Analysis, 1035 Parkway Avenue, P.O.B. 600, Trenton, New Jersey, 08625. The deadline for submitting comments is June 17, 1998.
