Routes 4 and 17 Interchange Project Awarded
Transportation Commissioner John J. Haley, Jr. today announced that the joint venture of Bishop-Sanzari, Inc. of White Plains, NY and Fletcher Creamer, Inc. of Hackensack, NJ has been awarded the contract for the overhaul of the Route 4 and 17 interchange. The contract amount is $49.7 million.
"We’re ready to move forward and people will see work under way by November," the Commissioner said.
The overhaul of the 66-year old interchange has been accelerated by nearly one year, with completion scheduled for early 2001.
