Beverwyck Road archeological
findings to be presented on February 25, 1999
The New Jersey Department of Transportation will present its preliminary archeological findings for the Beverwyck Road archeological site on Thursday, February 25, 1999, at the Parsippany-Troy Hills Township Municipal Building. Two presentations will be made, one at 4:00 PM and one at 7:00 PM.
Artifacts from the dig, including utensils, tools, coins and other everyday items from a pre-Revolutionary War era household, will be available at the presentation for viewing. NJDOT Project Management staff, along with archeologists, will be present to explain the artifacts and the significance of the site.
