Realignment plans for Route
322 advertised for construction bids
Transportation Commissioner James Weinstein today announced that the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT)has advertised for bid the realignment plans for Route 322 in Logan Township, Gloucester County.
The project, which will realign the roadway and eliminate a curve, should be awarded for construction by mid-August, with work to begin on or about September 1, 1999. NJDOT expects to complete the project by the end of this year.
As interim safety measures, NJDOT has installed pavement reflectors, chevrons, warning signs, rumblestrips, and skid-resistant pavement. The project will be funded by the New Jersey Transportation Trust Fund.
