Public Information Center for Route
206 to be held on July 29th in Hillsborough
The New Jersey Department of Transportation will hold a public information center to discuss planned improvement projects for Route 206 in Hillsborough, Montgomery, Raritan and Somerville. The information center will be held at the Hillsborough Township Municipal Complex, Multi-Purpose Room, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, July 29th.
The projects to be discussed are the widening of Route 206 from Brown Avenue to Frelinghuysen Avenue; the widening of Route 206 between Doctor’s Way and Brown Avenue; and the construction of the Route 206 Bypass, which will consist of two lanes in each direction on new alignment from Doctor’s Way to Belle Mead-Griggstown Road.
A formal presentation will be given by NJDOT personnel at approximately 5:00 PM, but interested members of the community can attend at any time during the information center and NJDOT personnel can explain the projects and answer questions.
