NJDOT to discuss Route 33 Bypass
The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) will hold a Public Information Center to discuss the Route 33 Bypass project at the Howell Township Municipal Building, 251 Preventorium Road, Howell, NJ, on Wednesday, October 6, 1999 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
The Route 33 Bypass project involves extending existing Route 33 from its terminus at Halls Mill Road in Freehold to east of Fairfield Road in Howell Township. The Bypass will be a two lane roadway. The estimated cost of this project is $45 million, with construction to start in the summer of 2000. NJDOT staff will be on hand to explain the project and take input from interested citizens.
