Weinstein and Kamin to
discuss
inspection system progress
Transportation Commissioner James Weinstein and Division of Motor Vehicles Director C. Richard Kamin will hold a briefing to update the media on the efforts to repair the enhanced automobile inspection and maintenance program. This is first in a series of media briefings on the enhanced automobile inspection program that Commissioner Weinstein and Director Kamin intend to hold throughout the spring.
The first briefing will be held on Friday, March 17, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. in the multi-purpose room at New Jersey Department of Transportation headquarters on Parkway Ave., Ewing.
At tomorrows briefing, Commissioner Weinstein and Director Kamin intend to discuss the efforts and progress being made to meet the June 30th deadline for making the inspection system fully operational.
Parking for attending media will be available in the parking lot in front of NJDOT headquarters.
Directions to NJDOT headquarters:
From the Statehouse -- take Route 29 northbound and make a right at the first light on to Sullivan Way. Take Sullivan Way to the next light and make a right on to Lower Ferry Road. Take Lower Ferry Road to the next light and then make a right on to Parkway Avenue. Immediately make the next right into the visitors parking lot at NJDOT headquarters. Proceed into the building and sign in with the receptionist.
From points north -- take Route 1 southbound to Route 95 westbound. Exit the highway at Exit 3 Scotch Road. Come off the ramp and make a left turn on to Scotch Road and stay on the road all the way to the end at the light at Parkway Avenue. Make a left on to Parkway. Go through the next light at Lower Ferry Road then make an immediate right turn into the NJDOT visitors parking lot. Proceed into the building and sign in with the receptionist.
