DMV Proposes Regulations Pertaining To School Buses
The New Jersey Division of Motor Vehicles has proposed new regulations, has proposed amendments of regulations, and has proposed the repeal of regulations pertaining to school buses.
The Division of Motor Vehicles’ regulatory proposal was published in the February 19, 2002 issue of the New Jersey Register. A public hearing concerning the State Implementation Plan will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, February 25, 2002 at the First Floor Public Hearing Room, Department of Environmental Protection, 401 East State Street, Trenton, New Jersey. The public hearing concerning the State Implementation Plan will include consideration of that portion of the Division of Motor Vehicles’ proposal (N.J.A.C. 13:20-30.13) that pertains to the type and character of the emission inspections that are to be performed on gasoline-powered school buses, the facility at which the emission inspections are to be performed, and the frequency of the emission inspections.
