NJDOT to hold public meeting on proposed
wireless antenna facility in Springfield Township
The New Jersey Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting to discuss a proposed wireless communications facility to be installed on state property in Springfield Township, Union County.
The meeting will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2002, at 7:00 pm in the Council Chambers of the Springfield Township Municipal Building, 100 Mountain Avenue, Springfield, NJ.
The proposed wireless facility consists of a 64 foot high flagpole to be located along I-78 near milepost 48.8 in Springfield Township.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide interested citizens and local officials with an opportunity to review the details involved with the location, construction and operation of the proposed facility and to solicit comment. NJDOT representatives, and representatives of AT&T Wireless Communications, building and operator of the proposed facility, will be on hand.
