Temporary detour of Park
Avenue to begin Monday June 3, 2002
The Park Avenue bridge over the NJ TRANSIT railroad tracks in Long Branch, Monmouth County, will be closed for repairs for approximately eight to 12 weeks beginning Monday June 3, 2002.
Work is expected to take place Monday through Saturday from 7 am to 5:30 pm.
A temporary detour of Park Avenue traffic will run from Park Ave. down Truax Street, to Linclon Ave., to Elberon Ave. and then back to Park Ave.
While the detour will be in place for vehicular traffic, the bridge will remain open to pedestrian traffic at all times.
