I-295 SOUTHBOUND to close to
repair Creek Road Bridge, Bellmawr
Friday, June 7 at 8 pm until Saturday evening, June 8
I-295 south in Bellmawr from Interchange 26 (Route 42) to Interchange 25 (Route 47, Delsea Drive) will be closed.
FROM I-295 SOUTHBOUND:
Use the New Jersey Turnpike as an alternate route by exiting I-295 at either Route 73 Southbound (Interchange 36) or Route 168 Southbound (Interchange 28).
FROM THE WALT WHITMAN or BEN FRANKLIN BRIDGE:
Take Route 130 south; this leads back to I-295.
OTHER DETOURS:
All traffic not utilizing the alternate routes above will be directed onto Route 42 South to Route 55 South to Route 47 North to Route130 South.
The Creek Road Bridge will reopen on June 10.
Plan ahead, leave extra time for your travel through this area and follow the signs. NJDOT has worked in cooperation with PADOT and other agencies to ensure that variable message signs provide detailed, up-to-the-minute detour information at all bridges and roadways in the region.
