Canal in New Brunswick to close for repairs
The Landing Lane bridge (County Route 609) over the Delaware and Raritan Canal in New Brunswick will be closed temporarily for repairs.
Repairs will be made to steel and concrete beams supporting the bridge deck. The worked will be performed by Industrial Engineering Works of Trenton, NJ under the supervision of NJDOT Maintenance Engineering staff.
The closure will begin Saturday, June 15, 2002, at 6:00 am. The bridge will reopen at 6:00 am on Monday, June 17, 2002. A detour will be posted and in place during the closure.
