Fox to cut ribbon for new
Howard Boulevard Park and Ride lot
Transportation Commissioner Jamie Fox will join state and local officials tomorrow to cut the ribbon for the new Howard Boulevard Park and Ride lot in Mount Arlington, Morris County, NJ.
The ribboncutting will be held at the I-80 and Howard Boulevard Interchange, Mount Arlington, at 10:30 am on Tuesday, June 25, 2002.
The Howard Boulevard Park and Ride lot will hold 235 new parking spaces for I-80 commuters. The $2.3 million project was started in July of 2001. The project is an important component of NJDOT’s efforts to provide more parking facilities for commuters using the east-west highway corridors in northern New Jersey.
The park and ride lot is located just off of I-80, Exit 30, milepost 30.5. Attendees should take Howard Boulevard south in order to reach the park and ride lot.
