Governor James E. McGreevey has signed the following bills into law:

S-1718//A-2515 (Kenny/Littell/Blee/Sires) – Provides appropriations act provision concerning the transportation of school pupils in certain remote schools in certain counties.
August 3, 2002
S-658/A-1915 (Allen/Bagger/Doria/Friscia) – Establishes Task Force on Workplace Violence.
S-894/A-2042 (Bennett/Doria/Impreveduto) – Prohibits certain persons from advertising themselves as possessing safety professional certification.
S-1103/A-1877 (Bagger/Cohen/Green/Munoz) – Increases membership of certain county boards of taxation.
S-1139/A-1946 (Impreveduto/Sarlo/Codey/Singer) – Establishes United We Stand license plate to support United States Department’s Rewards for Justice Program.
S-1198/A-440 (Adler/Sweeney/Guear/R. Smith) – Upgrades simple assault to aggravated assault at youth sports events.
S-1553/A-2323 (Furnari/Gormley/Cohen) – Allows JRS member to reduce retirement allowance to provide survivor benefit.
S-1680/A-2589 (Matheussen/Vitale/Sires/Weinberg) – Requires medical malpractice insurers to provide certain information to DOBI concerning physicians, podiatrists and nurses they insure.
A-972/S-1428 (Barnes/Holzapfel/Allen/Inverso) – Extends time to file complaint for drunk driving from 30 to 90 days.
A-1880/S-1339 (R. Smith/VanDrew/Cafiero) – Repeals certain statutory provisions concerning the taking and management of lobster and requires annual DEP report on lobster resource.
A-1888/S-1119 (Greenwald/Weinberg/Vitale) – Requires hepatitis B vaccinations for high school students and new full-time students at institutions of higher education.
A-1956/S-1247 (Doria/Quigley/Sacco) – Authorizes appointment of two deputy municipal clerks in certain municipalities.
ACS for A-2098/SCS for S-1384 (Johnson/Inverso/Matheussen) – Criminalizes defrauding administration of a drug test.
A-2429/S-531 (Caraballo/O’Toole/James) – Clarifies that certain acting county prosecutors may receive same salary as county prosecutor.
