Commissioner Fox to present check
to North Plainfield for local Road Projects

Transportation Commissioner Jamie Fox tomorrow will present a check for $455,000 to the Borough of North Plainfield for the repaving of three roads in North Plainfield.
Funding for these projects is provided through the N.J. Transportation Trust Fund, which for nearly 20 years has provided a stable source of funding for transportation projects statewide.
Commissioner Fox’s approval of these grants will provide a direct source of property tax relief for North Plainfield by providing local aid funding to help towns upgrade and improve their roads and bridges.
The three roads in North Plainfield scheduled for repaving are Clinton Avenue, Farragut Road and Grove Street.
