NJDOT to hold public information center
for I-295/I-76/Route 42 Direct Connection

Department seeks community input on alternatives

(Trenton) - The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) will hold a Public Information Center for the I-295/I-76/Route 42 Direct Connection project on July 24, 2003, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Bellmawr Ballroom, 29 Lewis Avenue, Bellmawr, NJ.

Department officials will present and gather community comment on an initial set of alternatives developed by the NJDOT Project Team for improving safety and relieving congestion at the interchange.

Each of the initial project alternatives will be on display in the ballroom beginning at 3:00 p.m. with NJDOT representatives on hand to answer questions. The NJDOT Project Team will give a formal presentation at 4:00 p.m. and repeat at 7:00 p.m. followed by a comment period.

A project-specific Direct Connection website has been created to provide a wide range of project information and offers visitors the opportunity to e-mail comments directly to the Project Team.
