The College of NJ and Project for Public Spaces host New
Jersey Smart Choices workshops
Experts
come together to help create better streets and community space

-The NJ Department of Transportation (NJDOT) in collaboration
with the Municipal Land Use Center at The College of New Jersey
and Project for Public Spaces will host a series of four workshops
on combating traffic and sprawl.
The
series, which begins October 7, is entitled New Jersey
Smart Choices . It will highlight innovative ways to coordinate
land use and transportation planning in a manner that combats
congestion and improves the quality of life. Commissioner Jack
Lettiere, NJDOT leadership and national, state and local experts
will share practical advice for solving critical issues facing
New Jersey communities.
