NJDOT announces temporary
closure
of Route 78 westbound exit 15
(Trenton) - The New Jersey
Department of Transportation (NJDOT) will temporarily close Route
78 Exit 15 in Clinton on Friday evening May 12, 2006 and will
reopen by Memorial Day weekend. This closure is necessary to complete
all work associated with NJDOT’s project to rebuild the
exit ramp. Work on the exit ramp is part of a NJDOT roadway project
interchange improvements which provide safety and operational
improvements in the area of the interchange. This is a safety
project in response to the I-78 school bus rear-end accident last
year.
During the closure, motorists will be directed to follow a detour
route that diverts vehicles to Exit 13.
