NJDOT plans deck replacement on
Paramus Road over Route 17 in Ridgewood Village
(Trenton)- Commissioner Kris Kolluri today announced that the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) will replace the Paramus Road bridge deck over Route 17 in Ridgewood Village, Bergen County.
“Routes 17 is a vital corridor for residents of Bergen County,” said Commissioner Kolluri. “The replacement of the Paramus Road Bridge deck over Route 17 will ensure the continued mobility and safety of Route 17 and its local roadway network.”
Starting June 5, 2008, NJDOT will conduct temporary left lane and shoulder closures in both directions on Paramus Road on Mondays through Fridays from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with possible weekend closures. Nighttime right lane closures on Route 17 in both directions will take place from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. on June 11, 12, and 13. The project is scheduled for completion in December 2008.
