NJDOT announces Route 38
resurfacing project in Mount Laurel and Hainesport
(Trenton) - Commissioner Stephen Dilts today announced that the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) will resurface over four miles of Route 38 westbound from east of Creek Road in Hainesport Township to Route 295 in Mount Laurel Township, Burlington County.
“Route 38 is an important corridor for the residents and businesses of Burlington County,” said Governor Jon S. Corzine. “NJDOT is committed to roadway maintenance projects that keep New Jersey and Burlington County moving.”
From Monday, May 18 through mid-July, NJDOT will temporarily close lanes on Route 38 westbound, from Monday through Friday nights from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning.
The $3 million maintenance resurfacing project is scheduled for completion in August.
