NJDOT completes drainage improvements on
Route 206 and Arreton Road in Princeton
( Trenton ) -Commissioner Stephen Dilts today announced that the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) has completed a drainage improvement project on Route 206 in Princeton Township, Mercer County.
“This project will reduce flooding, protect the existing pavement and improve motorist safety on Route 206 in Princeton,” said Commissioner Dilts.
NJDOT replaced the culvert at Arreton Road, constructed a new drain and inlets at Arreton Road, and stabilized the eroded slope of Route 206. New stone walls were constructed on Route 206 south of Arreton Road and the existing guide rails were improved along Route 206.
The $1.1 million project began construction in July 2008.
