NJDOT announces weekend closure of Route 168 ramp to I-295 in Camden County
(Trenton) - The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) today announced the Route 168 (Black Horse Pike) northbound ramp to I-295 southbound will be closed this weekend to accommodate the ongoing Route 295 resurfacing project in Camden and Gloucester counties.
The exit ramp will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, November 19, until early Sunday afternoon, November 21 for rehabilitation work on the ramp. NJDOT will also close the right-most lane on I-295 southbound in the vicinity of the ramp during the same time period.
During the ramp closure Route 168 motorists bound for I-295 will take Kings Highway (CR 551) to Market Street to I-76 southbound to I-295 southbound.
NJDOT is rehabilitating I-295 in Barrington, Bellmawr, Cherry Hill, Haddon Heights, Haddonfield, Lawnside and Tavistock in Camden County and West Deptford and Westville in Gloucester County. The project also includes replacing five I-295 bridge decks. Construction is scheduled for completion in summer 2012.
