Interstate 295 ramps to Route 130 northbound
to be closed in Bordentown
Thursday night closures will require overnight detour
(Trenton) - NJDOT today announced that electrical utility work will require the closure of the Interstate 295 northbound and southbound ramp connections to Route 130 northbound on Thursday, February 2 from 10 p.m. to approximately 6 a.m. the next morning in Bordentown.
A new permanent Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) traffic camera is being installed in the median of the I-295 bridge over Route 130. The overnight ramp closure is necessary for PSE&G crew members to provide service at this location.
• I-295 southbound motorists destined for Route 130 northbound (Exit 57A) will be directed to use Exit 57B to Route 130 southbound to the Dunn’s Mill Road eastbound U-turn onto Route 130 northbound.
• I-295 northbound motorists destined for Route 130 northbound (Exit 57) will be directed through the interchange to Exit 60 for I-195 eastbound to Route 206 southbound (Exit 1) to Route 130 southbound to the Dunn’s Mill Road eastbound U-turn onto Route 130 northbound.
NJDOT will deploy portable Dynamic Message Signs to notify motorists of the temporary closure and detours.
