Route 29 tunnel maintenance will require Lalor Street ramp closure tonight in Trenton City

(Trenton) - NJDOT officials today advised motorists in the Trenton area that the Lalor Street ramp onto Route 29 northbound is scheduled to be closed overnight as crews perform maintenance cleaning and other operations along the Trenton Tunnel.

The ramp closure - along with the closure of the outside shoulder on Route 29 northbound - is scheduled to be in place from 7 p.m. tonight until around 9 a.m. on Saturday morning, November 23.

Lalor Street motorists destined for Route 29 northbound will be directed to use the Cass Street connection with Route 29.

Motorists are encouraged to check NJDOT’s traffic information website www.511nj.org for real-time travel information.
