Department of Transportation proposing
new rules on Vegetation Canopy Management
(Trenton) – The New Jersey Department of Transportation is proposing new rules at N.J.A.C. 16:41F, Vegetation Canopy Management. These rules establish standards for the management of vegetation within State highway ROW under the jurisdiction or control of the New Jersey Department of Transportation, through a Vegetation Canopy Management (VCM) plan.
The proposed new rules appear in the August 18, 2014 issue of the New Jersey Register. The public has until October 17, 2014 to comment on the proposal. Persons wishing to comment on the proposal must provide their comments in writing and may do so using any one of a variety of delivery options, including a new online comment form. Send comments to:
