Route 18 southbound ramp from Hope Road to be closed for paving in Eatontown, Monmouth County

Temporary detour will be in place next week

(Trenton) – New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) officials today announced the ramp from Hope Road southbound onto Route 18 southbound in Eatontown, Monmouth County, will be closed next week. 

Beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, October 20, 2014, through 6 a.m. Friday, October 24, the ramp from Hope Road southbound to Route 18 southbound will be closed while NJDOT’s contractor, Intercounty Paving, mills and repaves the ramp. Motorists on Hope Road southbound will be directed to Wyckoff Road and then onto Route 18 southbound.

Variable message signs will notify motorists of the traffic pattern changes.  The precise timing of the work is subject to change due to weather or other factors.  Motorists are encouraged to check NJDOT’s traffic information website www.511nj.org for real-time travel information.
