Deck replacement completed in
time for the Thanksgiving holiday

(Trenton) – New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) officials today announced the completion of the bridge deck replacement project of the I-80 eastbound express ramp to I-95 southbound in Teaneck and Ridgefield Park, Bergen County.

At 10 p.m. tonight, Monday, November 24, NJDOT’s contractor, Berto Construction, Inc., is scheduled to open the ramp from I-80 eastbound express to I-95 southbound, restoring full capacity to the exit in time for the busy Thanksgiving holiday.

The $1.8 million federally-funded project replaced the bridge deck that was in poor condition. The project was completed on time and on budget.
