Route 322 to be closed overnight in Folsom
Detour in place for bridge work
(Trenton) - New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) officials today announced an overnight closure of Route 322 for bridge work in Folsom Borough, Atlantic County this week.
From Wednesday night at 8:00 p.m. until Thursday morning at 6:00 a.m., Route 322 will be closed to permit work on the Route 54 bridge over Route 322.
The following detour will be in place.
Traffic traveling eastbound on Route 322 will be directed to make a left onto 14th Street, then make right onto Mays Landing Road/ Route 73, next make a right onto 8th Street and turn left onto Route 322 eastbound.
Traffic traveling westbound will be directed to take the Mays landing Road/Route 73 exit ramp to Mays Landing Road/Route 73. Proceed on Route 73 to 14th Street and make a left. Continue on 14th Street to Route 322 westbound.
Variable message signs and detour signs are being utilized throughout the project limits to provide advance notification to motorists of all traffic pattern changes associated with the reconstruction project. Throughout the project, NJDOT will provide information before upcoming road or ramp closures.
