proposing
repeal and new rules on Utility Accommodation
(Trenton) - The New Jersey Department of Transportation is proposing notice of repeal and new rules at N.J.A.C. 16:25, Utility Accommodation. These rules govern utilities, including pipelines, overhead power and communications lines, and underground electric power and communications lines. The chapter contains standards and requirements for utility accommodation on Department right-of-way.
The Department is extending the public comment period on the above notice of proposal, published in the August 3, 2015, New Jersey Register at 47 N.J.R. 1903(a), for 30 days. The comment period now ends on November 2, 2015.
The public has until November 2, 2015 to comment on the proposal. Persons wishing to comment on the proposal must provide their comments in writing and may do so using any one of a variety of delivery options, including an online comment form. Send comments to:
