Bridge approach and drainage work requires a full closure
(Trenton) - New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) officials today announced Port Murray Road will be closed for bridge work in Mansfield, Warren County.
Starting at 7 a.m. Monday, March 28, until late spring 2016, NJDOT’s contractor, Berto Construction, is scheduled to close Port Murray Road from Hoffman Road to Brickyard Road to replace a concrete wingwall on the approach to the bridge that spans active rail lines. Drainage improvements are also included in the project.
NJDOT has been in contact with county and local officials, as well as the rail operators to coordinate the work. The Department designed the project to make the repairs as quickly as possible to minimize the impact on traffic during the closure. The project is expected to be completed by late spring 2016.
