Route 9 northbound ramp to Garden State Parkway northbound will be closed this weekend in Sayreville
Bridge deck reconstruction requires weekend ramp closure
THIS WORK WAS RESCHEDULED FROM LAST WEEKEND
(Trenton) - New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) officials today announced that the Route 9 northbound ramp to the Garden State Parkway northbound in Sayreville is scheduled to be closed this weekend to permit work on an adjacent bridge as part of a New Jersey Turnpike Authority project. This work was rescheduled from last weekend.
At 7 p.m., Friday, April 15, NJ Turnpike Authority Contractor, Northeast Remsco Construction, Inc., will close the Route 9 northbound ramp to the Parkway in Sayreville until Monday, April 18, at 5 a.m. The closure will permit deck reconstruction on a bridge adjacent to the ramp.
The following detour will be in effect throughout the closure:
- Motorists will proceed on Route 9 northbound and take the Route 9 north/Route 35 northbound ramp then proceed north to take the ramp from Route 9 northbound to the Garden State Parkway northbound in Woodbridge.
