Route 130 to Old Salem Pike Detour:
• Route 130 commercial traffic wishing to access Old Salem Pike will be directed to Creek Road.
The $7.9 million federally-funded Route 130 Brooklawn Circle Improvements project began construction in August 2016, and is expected to be completed in early 2018. The project is expected to significantly enhance safety and improve traffic operation in the circle area. Improvements include the elimination of the left turn movement from Brooklawn Circle onto Creek Road, the elimination of all turns from Creek Road to Route 47, improve the vertical curve from the Route 47 Bridge onto the circle, upgrades to Old Salem Pike including a new adaptive traffic signal at the corner of Route 130 and Old Salem Pike, pedestrian upgrades, and utility improvements.
NJDOT will provide advanced notification to the public before upcoming road closures. The precise timing of the work is subject to change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are encouraged to check NJDOT's traffic information website www.511nj.org for real-time travel information and for NJDOT news follow us on Twitter @NJDOT_info.
