in South Brunswick
(Trenton) - New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) officials today announced lane closures on all legs of the Route 32/Forsgate Drive intersection with CR535/Cranbury-South River Road for traffic signal work in South Brunswick.
Beginning at 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, NJDOT is scheduled to close the left lane on all legs of the Route 32/Forsgate Drive intersection with CR535/Cranbury-South River Road to install new traffic signals, pole arms and replace a damage pole. The work was originally scheduled for last week, but was pushed back because of weather.
Motorists in the area, including those utilizing the nearby NJ Turnpike 8A interchange should plan ahead and use caution.
Construction signs are being utilized throughout the project limits to provide advance notification to motorists of the traffic pattern changes associated with the electrical work, and local police will be on site to assist while the work is being done.
The precise timing of the work is subject to change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are encouraged to check NJDOT's traffic information website www.511nj.org for real-time travel information and for NJDOT news follow us on Twitter @NJDOT_info.
