Route 1 southbound ramp to be reopened Monday morning
(Trenton) - New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) officials today announced the weekend closure of the Exit 67 ramp from I-95 northbound/I-295 southbound to Route 1 in both directions, to advance construction and prepare for the reopening of the Route 1 southbound ramp on Monday morning in Lawrence Township.
Beginning at 10 p.m. tonight, Friday, April 7 until 5 a.m. Monday, April 10, NJDOT’s contractor, South State, Inc., is scheduled to close the Exit 67 ramp from I-95 northbound/I-295 southbound to Route 1 northbound and southbound for continued bridge deck replacement. The ramp to both Route 1 northbound and southbound will reopen Monday morning as construction advances to a new stage.
During this new phase of construction, both ramps to Route 1 northbound and southbound will be open, with crews working behind construction barrier on guide rail, parapets, and other items. There will be additional full weekend closures this spring for final paving and removing construction barrier.
