I-95 north/I-295 south ramp to Route 1 to be closed in both directions this weekend in Lawrence
(Trenton) - New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) officials today announced the closure this weekend of the Exit 67 ramp from I-95 northbound/I-295 southbound to Route1 in both directions to advance construction in Lawrence Township.
Beginning tonight at 10 p.m., Friday, April 28 until 8 p.m., Saturday, April 29, NJDOT’s contractor, South State, Inc., is scheduled to close the Exit 67 ramp from I-95 northbound/I-295 southbound to Route 1 northbound and southbound to install deck panels and pour concrete.
Friday and Saturday Detours
During the ramp closure, motorists on I-95 northbound/I-295 southbound attempting to use Exit 67 will be detoured to Exit 65A then directed onto I-295 northbound where they will use Exit 67B to access Route 1 northbound or southbound.
Variable message signs and lane closure signs are being utilized throughout the project limits to provide advance notification to motorists of all traffic pattern changes associated with the deck replacement project. Throughout the project, NJDOT will provide information before upcoming road closures.
