Department of Transportation Proposing New Rules for the Specific Service Sign (Logo) Program
(Trenton) - The New Jersey Department of Transportation is proposing new rules at N.J.A.C. 16:41E for the Specific Service Sign (Logo) Program. This rule establishes standards and procedures for the implementation of the Specific Service Sign (Logo) Program along eligible designated freeways and interstate highways of New Jersey. The Logo program is intended to enhance motorist safety by providing signs that identify specific services and provide directional information to eligible gas, food, lodging, camping and attractions for the benefit of the travelling public.
The proposal was published in the August 21, 2017 issue of New Jersey Register at 49 N.J.R. 2780(a). The comment period ends on October 20, 2017.
