Route 130 lane closures necessary for utility work in Camden County
New traffic pattern required for emergency construction
(Trenton) - New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) officials today announced Public Service Electric and Gas (PSE&G) will be making repairs to its natural gas facilities on Route 130 northbound in Brooklawn between the Brooklawn Circle and Browning Road.
The repairs are scheduled to begin on or about Tuesday, October 31, and is expected to take approximately three weeks to complete. Local police will be on site to direct traffic. The roadway will remain open in both directions, although right lane and right shoulder closures will be necessary during construction.
The utility repairs are a result of required surveys for the NJDOT Route 130 Brooklwan Circles Project.
The precise timing of the work is subject to change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are encouraged to check NJDOT’s traffic information website www.511nj.org for real-time travel information and for NJDOT news follow us on Twitter @NJDOT_info.
