Department of Transportation Issuing Notice of
Pre-Proposal for Amendments to
Vegetation Canopy Management Rules
(Trenton) - The New Jersey Department of Transportation is issuing notice of a pre-proposal for amendments at N.J.A.C. 16:41F-5.1, 6.2 and 6.3. The purpose of these rules is to enhance visibility while protecting vegetation on State right-of-way under the jurisdiction or control of the Department, by requiring VCM to be conducted pursuant to a Department-approved plan.
The proposal was published in the November 6, 2017 issue of New Jersey Register at 49 N.J.R. 3483(a).
The public may send in written comments by the close of the public comment period on January 5, 2018 via the Department’s website comment form or via the following mail or email addresses:
