Route 3 lanes closed underneath Paterson Plank Road for emergency repairs in Secaucus
(Trenton) -New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) officials today announced lane closures on Route 3 for emergency repairs at Paterson Plank Road in Secaucus, Hudson County.
Starting immediately, NJDOT crews have closed two lanes underneath Paterson Plank Road on Route 3 eastbound to make overhead bridge deck repairs. Crews are expected to close additional lanes on Route 3 in each direction as work progresses until tomorrow morning. It is anticipated that one lane will remain open in each direction.
Motorists are advised to use caution, plan an alternate route and expect delays.
Variable message signs are being utilized to provide advance notification to motorists of all traffic pattern changes associated with the emergency repairs.
