Two lanes will be maintained through the work zone
(Trenton) -New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) officials today announced the left lane on I-80 eastbound will be closed beginning Monday, September 16 for priority bridge repairs to the overpass carrying Route 94 over I-80 in Knowlton, Warren County.
Beginning at 9 p.m. Monday, September 16, NJDOT’s contractor, IEW Construction Group Inc., is scheduled to close the left lane of I-80 eastbound to install temporary supports and make repairs to the bridge carrying Route 94 over I-80. Coming from Pennsylvania, I-80 is two lanes in the eastbound direction until just past the railroad overpass before the rest area. The left lane will be closed where the highway normally expands to three lanes with two lanes being maintained until just past the Route 94 Bridge over I-80. The closure will be in place through the fall.
