Much work on long-awaited
projects that will provide safer travel
is in progress in Bergen County. NJDOT
and
NJ TRANSIT work with local officials
and citizens to keep activities off
the road during weekday rush hours,
keep lane closings to a minimum and
give motorists ample notice for changes
in traffic patterns. Park
and ride and transit information
are available as well as project updates.
To help
people get through the construction period
with as little disruption to their commutes
as possible, the Federal Highway Administration
(FHWA) has funded additional vanpool
incentives.
