Hackensack to South Hackensack

Description:
This project includes rehabilitation of bridge structures, roadway reconstruction of entrance and exit ramps, installation of noise barriers and creation of an auxiliary lane between Polifly Road and Vreeland Avenue.
Area:
Along I-80 from the interchange with Route 17 in Hackensack to Vreeland Avenue exit in South Hackensack (1.5 miles).
Impacts:
Temporary detours via local roadways during construction of ramps. Roadway congestion expected.

Bogota to I-95

Description:
This project includes rehabilitation of both the eastbound local and express lanes and the westbound express lane; roadway widening on I-95, four overpass rehabilitations and installation of noise barriers.
Area:
Section I - Along I-80 eastbound and westbound from the Palisades Avenue overpass in Bogota to I-95, the Teaneck Road overpass in Teaneck (1 mile).
Section II - Along I-80 eastbound from the Teaneck Road overpass in Teaneck to the interchange with I-95 in Ridgefield Park, then along I-95 local lanes from the I-80 interchange to the interchange with Route 46 in Ridgefield Park (1 mile).
Impacts:
Off-peak lane and shoulder closures. Roadway congestion expected. Redistribution of traffic from I-80 eastbound to I-95.
