Project Description


The construction on this project has been completed.

The major goals of this rehabilitation project are to:

  • Rehabilitate the I-287 mainline via full-depth pavement replacement and asphalt overlay;
  • Replace the deteriorated bridge decks carrying I-287 over Durham Avenue;
  • Replace the deteriorated bridge decks carrying I-287 over Route 1;
  • Patch and make repairs on the remaining bridge decks;
  • Install Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) equipment, including signs and cameras, throughout the project area.
