Community Outreach
The New Jersey Department
of Transportation (NJDOT)
is committed to developing
transportation improvements
that best balance transportation
needs, the environment,
community concerns and
cost. One of the most critical
elements related to the
success of a project is
the relationship that NJDOT
develops with the community.
Two Public Information
Centers were held in Middlesex
County at the North Brunswick
Municipal Building, 710
Hermann Avenue, New Brunswick,
New Jersey on December
7, 2006 and December 18,
2008.
Additionally, NJDOT has
provided an on-site community
relations team for the project;
working daily with local
and regional community shareholders
throughout the construction
