Enhancements

The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) plans to build a mixed use bicycle/pedestrian continuous walking trail (Greenway Trail) through the Central Gateway Area in order to provide safe routes along the waterways of Camden County for bicycling, walking and other activities. Landscaping and trail elements will be located within right-of-way of various roadways.

In addition, NJDOT plans to install curb ramps and crosswalks adjacent to the project limits along the following roadways:

• Park Boulevard - Haddon Avenue to Magnolia Avenue
• Haddon Avenue - Park Boulevard to Mount Vernon Avenue
• Baird Boulevard - Park Boulevard to Langham Avenue
• Kaigns Avenue - Haddon Avenue to Kenwood Avenue
