The night shift is preparing to continue erecting the cantilever segments at Pier 16. During the time of 24 hour work the crews were able to erect and post tension three pairs of segments a day. |

Work on the balanced cantilever continued into the late afternoon and evening. The crew shifts were staggered to continue work around the clock. |

The balanced cantilever continues at Pier 16 and the approach spans for the south side. The barge load of segments is positioned where they can be easily reached without interference with marine traffic. |

The reinforcing steel is being tied for the footing at Pier 10, while Span 13 of the superstructure is erected on the truss. The base segment at Pier 11 has been set in place and is ready to continue erecting the pier./td>
