The first of the remaining three segments is being erected over the channel of the main span. The closure beams are in place to position and hold the segment until the closure concrete has cured. Marine traffic was not affected by the superstructure cantilever construction. |

The first half of the main span pier segment is erected at pier 15. The support brackets are in place and attached to the substructure pier. The other half of the pier segment will be erected and attached to the first segment with epoxy and post tensioning bars. |

The balanced cantilever has been erected to segment 24 out of 27 in each direction. The next closure joint will be cast at this location before cantilever erection continues. |
